We loved hearing about all the games and toys that parents played with. Thank you for sharing this information with your children.
English
This week we have focussed on the story ‘Not now Bernard’. The children have sequenced the order of events, made puppets and re-told the story.
Maths
In maths, the children have been learning to partition 5, 10 and 20. For example, 5 can be partitioned into 3 and 2 or 4 and 1. You can practise this at home using counters, buttons or even fruit.
Homework
For homework this week, we would like the children to draw a picture of their favourite toy and then label the toy. Please make the pictures colourful so that they can be used as a display.
