Castleview School

Exceptional Schools Award

Standards - 2018

We were delighted with our Key Stage 2 (end of Year 6) SATs results.  Below you can see how our results compare to those achieved nationally.  The table below gives you information on how we have performed against all schools nationally, and you will see we are significantly above national data in each area, with which we are obviously delighted.

Standards - 2017

There were 96 children in Year 6 and 60 in Year 2, Year 1 and Reception.  We have children who have statements/EHCPs for SEN in each year group, some of whom did not sit the SATs but they are included in all the below data.

We are very pleased with how our results compare to those nationally and locally.

2016

53% of the children nationally achieved the expected standing in Reading, Writing and Maths, 54% of Slough children and 90% of Castleview children.  This is 37% above the national average and 36% above the Slough average.

Progress - the measure that is used has changed this year.  The progress of our Reading and Maths was significantly higher than nationally and our writing was slightly above national.  A progress score of 0 means that children have made expected progress from Year 2 to Year 6.  Our Reading was 3.7, Maths 2.9 and Writing 0.4.
