Ufton Court

Day 1

Year 4 have arrived safely! The sun is shining, perfect weather for an afternoon of fun filled activities.

Year 4 have spent the morning learning what skills the Saxons needed to support life e.g. firelighting, fencebuilding and goat milking! Also, how Saxons protected themselves using shields.

There has been an action packed afternoon!

Year 4 have taken part in photo mapping, Saxon games and Saxon crime and punishment sessions.

They were also treated to ice lollies to help them cool down in the afternoon

Day 2

The day has kicked off with Saxon jewellery making and Saxon 7 kingdoms activity. This was followed by delicious flapjacks, fresh from the kitchen for snack time.

Year 4 were treated to another fantastic meal served by the amazing catering team here at Ufton!

Bow making proved to be a very popular Saxon activity this afternoon!

Our final evening Year 4 all dressed up as Saxons! They took part in an evening full of entertainment; joke telling, feasting, singing and dancing!

Day 3

The final day at Ufton Court was spent collecting natural products to make potions and plant prints. Year 4 thoroughly enjoyed getting their hands dirty! Thankyou Milo, Ayesha and Joanna for such an fantastic trip. You were amazing!
